DENVER, Colo. (June 13th, 2012) – The Fashion Group International Denver will host a professional business panel titled “The Art of Fashion Advertising” on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Goldyn in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood.
The event will feature local advertising and retail executives with a focus on how to utilize current advertising trends to grow small business. The panel will be moderated by Stephanie Ohnmacht and Cynthia Petrus, Program Co-Chairs for FGI Denver.
Confirmed panel speakers include: Ellen Bruss – Owner of Ellen Bruss Design and Vanessa Barcus – Owner of Goldyn. Additional speakers are being finalized.
Ellen Bruss has over 20 years experience in the creative marketing and design arena. She began Ellen Bruss Design in 1990 with three clients: Janus Mutual Funds, Public Service Credit Union, and MCA Concerts. Bruss and her staff currently work on creative projects for Marczyk Fine Foods, Museum of Contemporary Art/Denver, Hammond’s Candies and Karman Western Wear.
Vanessa Barcus founded Goldyn in 2007 as an online boutique, offering a mix of iconic brands as well as emerging designers. Goldyn opened its first brick and mortar store in May 2011 in the Olinger Building in Denver. Barcus also serves on the Board of FGI Denver as Retail Advisor.
